How to make a bacon onion cake quickly? Our simple inexpensive recipe.
You will see, the cake is a really practical dish. You can eat it straight out of the oven but also take it to work the next day for a cheaper lunch.
Ingredients for 4 people, follow the chef:
- 2 eggs
- 100g of flour
- 80 ml of milk
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
- 75g of grated cheese
- 75g onions
- 125 g of bacon
- 1 tablespoon of fresh cream
- salt and pepper
First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Peel the onions (without crying?)
Meanwhile, sauté the onions and bacon in a sauté pan for a few minutes over low heat. Add the fresh cream, mix then turn off the heat and leave to cool.
Then mix the eggs with the flour, hot milk, baking powder and grated cheese in a bowl. Then add the onions and bacon to the cream.
Finally put the mixture in a cake dish and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
You will get a super moist and above all very good cake.
