Tomato Quiche:the Easy and Cheap Recipe.

Our tomato quiche recipe, easy, quick and above all not expensive to spend less.

Preparation takes 10 minutes and cooking takes 30 minutes in the oven at 220 degrees.

For 4 people the necessary ingredients are as follows:

- 1 shortcrust pastry

- 6 eggs

- 4 beautiful tomatoes

- 40 cl liquid cream.

- 100g grated cheese

- Provence herbs

Start by preheating your oven to 220 degrees.

Place the dough in a pie dish, leaving the parchment paper between the dish and the dough. (If you don't have parchment paper, spread butter on the pan before placing the dough).

Bake the dough for 10 minutes in the oven while preparing.

Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes, deseed them and cut them into thin slices.

In a large salad bowl, mix the 6 eggs, the liquid cream, the grated cheese and the tomatoes.

Take the dough out of the oven and pour the mixture over the dough, which will be a little blond.

Sprinkle with Herbes de Provence and put back in the oven for 30 minutes and it's ready!

Savings

The big advantage of dishes like quiche is that you can make it the day before for the next day.

Once cooked it will keep for about three days without any problem.

So you can take the few remaining portions to your work for an economical lunch.

Both in summer and in winter this trick is super practical, provided you don't forget your share of quiche in the fridge before leaving for work;-)
