Marshmallow candies are delicious.
Especially Marshmallows.
It would be ideal for you to even know THE homemade recipe to prepare this delicacy.
Well, this Homemade Marshmallows recipe does exist. Here it is:
- 250g caster sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 6 sheets of gelatine
- 15 to 20 g cornflour
- 60 g icing sugar
- 8 cl of water
- 2 tablespoons of syrup of your choice (grenadine, blackcurrant, strawberry, peach...)
- food coloring the color of the syrup
1. Soak the gelatin to soften it.
2. Pour the sugar into the 8 cl of water in a saucepan.
3. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
4. Then wait until the resulting syrup has a temperature of 130°C.
5. Beat the egg whites.
6. Add to them the syrup obtained in the pan, then the drained gelatin.
7. Add food coloring and flavored syrup while continuing to beat.
8. Beat until you get a thick, lukewarm batter.
9. Put the dough in a rectangular container.
10. Let the paste dry for 3 hours.
11. Mix the cornstarch and icing sugar.
12. Cut your marshmallow into cubes.
13. Dip each cube in the cornstarch and icing sugar mixture.
There you go, your Marshmallows are ready to be tasted :-)
Make several marshmallow pastes with different colors and syrups, to obtain Marshmallows of different colors.
Store them in a nice glass container.
