Making your own snacks doesn't have to be difficult. This recipe makes 12 crunchy peanut butter granola bars.
Ingredients for 12 bars
- 150 g oatmeal
- 75 g chopped almonds
- 2 tsp seed mix or sunflower seeds
- 100 g peanut butter (You can also make your own peanut butter.)
- 30 g coconut oil
- 60 g honey
- 6 g dried cranberries
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 20 g shaved coconut
Get started
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and divide the oats, chopped almonds and sunflower seeds on it. Roast them for 10 minutes until golden brown and put the mixture in a bowl.
- Heat the peanut butter, coconut oil and honey in a pan. Stir well and make sure that the mixture melts completely.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the oatmeal and stir.
- Add the cranberries, chia seeds and shredded coconut and mix everything well.
- Take an oven dish or baking dish and line it with baking paper. Pour the mixture into the bowl and press down well.
- Let the granola cool overnight in the fridge and cut the granola into pieces the next day.
