- Mix baking soda, water and vanilla.
- Mix the sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan. Keep stirring and let the mixture boil until it has reached a temperature of 120 degrees.
- Stir in the butter and peanuts. Make sure it's not related. Keep stirring and heat the mixture until it has a temperature of 150 degrees. Then quickly remove it from the heat and mix in the mixture of baking soda, water and vanilla.
- Pour the batter onto the greased baking tray and let it cool for at least an hour. Then you can break your peanut brittle into pieces and eat it.
