Place the eggs, sugar, flour, Schmand (sour cream) and baking powder in the bowl and mix with a hand mixer. The dough is not very runny so keep an eye on this.
Take the baking tray and place a sheet of baking paper on it
Spread the batter over the baking tray lined with baking paper. I used my hands for this, because the dough is fairly firm and then smoothed everything out using a regular knife
Preheat the oven and place the plate in the center of the oven. Bake the cake in the middle of the oven at 175˚C for about 10 minutes
Place the pan on the stove and let the butter, sugar (200 gr) and milk melt. Do this on a low heat and stir your body
Finally, add the slivered almonds to this mixture. Stir well and especially carefully
Remove the cake from the oven and divide the butter almond mixture over the cake
The cake is then placed back in the oven and baked for about 10 more minutes
You can also cut the sheet cake into pieces and freeze it. Remove from freezer as needed. Do not eat immediately when the cake comes out of the oven, because you can burn yourself badly.
