Marije from YouTube channel This happens when… recently made her childhood dream come true. Make your own chocolate bar, together with Hands off My Chocolate.
It has become a bar with the taste Birthday Cake, to feel a little bit of a birthday every day. To celebrate, there is also a recipe for a real birthday cake.
• 200 grams unsalted butter
• 250 grams Hands off My Chocolate Birthday Cake bar
• 60 grams cocoa powder
• 400 milliliters boiling water
• 300 milliliters buttermilk
• 500 gram flour
• Pinch of salt
• 6 eggs
• 600 gram caster sugar
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 300 grams of unsalted butter
• 300 grams of margarine
• 600 grams of powdered sugar
• 1 to 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• Disco dip
• 1 Hands off My Chocolate Birthday bar
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (electric oven).
2. Grease three cake tins of approximately 20 cm in diameter and line them with baking paper.
3. Melt 250 grams of Hands off My Chocolate au bain-marie.
4. For this part you will need 3 different bowls. In a bowl, mix the
cocoa powder with the water and add the buttermilk while stirring. In the second bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the eggs to bowl 3, beat on high speed for 3 minutes and then add the vanilla aroma and sugar. Mix this and then add the melted Hands off My chocolate Birthday bar. When incorporated, gradually add the flour mixture and cocoa mixture to the mix. Mix it to a smooth batter. Not too long, otherwise the batter will be too fluffy.
5. Divide the batter between the three molds and bake them one at a time for about 35-40 minutes. Let the cakes cool and remove them upside down from the tin.
6. When the cakes have cooled, cut off the bulge so that the cakes have a straight layer.
7. Then prepare the butter cream. Mix the butter with the margarine until soft. Sift the icing sugar and add it to the butter. Mix this for about 10 minutes.
8. Take a plate on which the cake will be presented and spread buttercream on it so that the bottom layer sticks to it. Spread about 0.5 centimeters of buttercream on the first layer and let it rise in the fridge for half an hour. Do the same for the other two layers.
9. Then spread the entire cake with buttercream. When the cake is completely covered, it should be placed in the fridge for two hours.
10. Drizzle the disco dip over the cake and place the Hands off My Chocolate Birthday bar (whole or in pieces) on top of the cake.
11. That's it, Enjoy!
