When it's your birthday, you treat. And of course you do that with a delicious birthday cake. Reason for Milka to make the ultimate Milka cake. Made with all your favorite Milka products. You can also make these at home, it's really easier than you think!
Recipe for home

Step 1:the cake
200 gr flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
40 gr cocoa powder
240 gr sugar
75 ml milk
100 gr Milka chocolate bar of your choice (finely chopped)
200 gr butter, at room temperature
Pinch of salt
4 eggs, at room temperature
Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
Gree the 2 baking pans (⌀ 15 cm) with butter and line the bottom with baking paper (it should be the same size as the bottom of the baking pan).
Put the sugar, butter and salt in a bowl and mix with the butterfly for at least 5 minutes.
Then add the eggs one at a time. When the previous egg is fully incorporated, add the next egg. Stop mixing when all the eggs are mixed and the mixture is fluffy.
Fold the flour and baking powder into the batter with a spatula, so that the cake remains fluffy.
Mix the cocoa powder with the sugar and milk and fold this into the batter
Finally fold in the chopped Milka chocolate.
Weigh the entire batter and divide it into 2 equal parts in the two baking pans
Bake the chocolate cake in about 30 – 40 minutes.
Poke a skewer into the cake to see if it is already cooked. If there is no batter on the skewer, the cake can be removed from the oven. Let the cake cool completely.
Step 2:the filling
600 grams of icing sugar
300 grams of cream cheese
100 grams of butter (at room temperature)
1 pack Milka chocowafer
Put the icing sugar, butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix on a low setting into a whole. Carefully add 5 Milka chocolate wafers.
Spread the filling between the two layers of cake and on top of the cake.
Step 3:the buttercream
80 grams of pasteurized protein
160 grams of granulated sugar
240 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature
50 grams of white Milka chocolate
Heat the sugar and the egg white in a bain-marie over a low heat.
Stir the mixture regularly with a spatula. Do this until all the sugar has dissolved. The mixture is completely dissolved when you can no longer feel the grains between your thumb and index finger.
Remove the mixture from the heat and beat the meringue until stiff. When the meringue has risen all the way and remains in the bowl, you can replace the whisk for the butterfly.
Now you can gradually add the butter (at room temperature!).
Whip everything until smooth. smooth mass and then add the melted chocolate.
The buttercream is now ready for use, spread it as a thin layer over the entire cake.
Tip! Do you also want those awesome colors? Add purple food coloring to the buttercream.
Step 4:the drip
100 grams Milka Darkmilk
45 ml whipped cream (from the pack)
Heat the chocolate in a bain-marie in a heat-resistant bowl
Put the weighed cream in a cup over low heat to Let it come up to temperature
When the chocolate has completely melted, you can carefully remove the bowl from the heat. Now slowly add the whipped cream while stirring
Stir gently until smooth. The drip is ready to pour over the top of the cake.
TIP:Make sure the drip is not too hot when you are going to drip the cake. You can test this by pouring a little drip on top of the cake and spreading it. If the buttercream melts, the drip is still too warm!
Step 5:the topping
The most fun step! Finish the ultimate cake with your favorite Milka products. The best is to make a combination of the Milka cookies, cake and bars.
