Recipe for pesto genovese

If that basil plant lives long, pesto is the ideal recipe.

This is the basic recipe, but you can of course vary the pesto or adjust the ingredients according to taste.

Ingredients

  • 30 grams basil leaves
  • 30 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 75 milliliters extra virgin olive oil
  • Small clove of garlic
  • A tablespoon of toasted pine nuts
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste if desired

Getting started
Mix all ingredients with a food processor or mortar.

You can store the pesto in a sealed container in the refrigerator for a few days. You can also freeze the pesto.
