Recipe:Protein-rich waffles without egg

Baking waffles without eggs? Use protein powder that already has a nice sweet taste. Win win! This recipe is perfect for after exercise.

Ingredients waffles without egg:

  • 1 banana
  • Scoop (25g) protein powder
  • 100g teff flour light
  • 250ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil.
  • Toppings:cottage cheese, teff protein muesli, puffed teff, strawberry &almond paste.

Vegan option: use vegan protein powder and a vegetable yogurt substitute for cottage cheese!

Preparation:

Turn on the waffle iron (or use a sandwich maker!) and put all ingredients in the blender. Mix until smooth (must be a little thick!). Grease the waffle iron and put the batter in it, leave it in the waffle iron for about 5-7 minutes (and that's longer than you think! If you open it too early it will stick to both sides and you won't get a nice waffle! ). When it's done; decorate it with the toppings! Tasty!
