Banana bread recipe for the slow cooker or the oven, whatever you want
A delicious banana bread recipe that you can make in the slow cooker, or in the oven, just what you want. The recipe comes from Marlieslevering Vd Eng who is very enthusiastic about this recipe and thinks the banana bread is the best banana bread ever made (or what she made herself, I don't know 😉 ). In any case, her enthusiasm was infectious enough for me, so I'm going to try it out soon. A nice change from the cake I sometimes make in the slow cooker.

Banana bread recipe for slow cooker or oven
The ease of the slow cooker is once again proven with this recipe. Once you've mixed all the ingredients in the right way, all you have to do is add it in and you'll have a delicious banana bread to munch on, 3.5 hours later.
Besides the fact that this is tasty, it is also a lot healthier than many other snacks.
Ingredients recipe banana bread
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
100 gr spelled flour
75 gr oatmeal flakes
1 teaspoon biscuit or gingerbread spices (and/or cinnamon)
baking soda, 1 teaspoon
1 dash of date or agave syrup
As desired:nuts, date pieces, fig pieces, raisins, cocoonibts, etc.
Almond shavings (garnish)

Make banana bread recipe in the slow cooker
Mix all ingredients together, except for the almond shavings (you can mash and mix, but a stick blender also works fine)
Line the slow cooker for this banana bread with baking paper (greased)
Put the batter in the slow cooker and place the almond slivers on top
Wrap a tea towel around the lid (to catch the moisture)
Put the slow cooker on low for 3 1/2 hours
Pick it in with a skewer to see if your banana bread recipe was successful and it is now cooked

Recipe banana bread in the oven instead of the slow cooker
Preheat the oven to 180°
Prepare the batter in the same way as above
Grease a cake tin
Put the banana bread recipe mixture in the cake tin and place the almond shavings on top
Bake the banana bread in the oven for about an hour. Check in the meantime that it is not going too fast and check after approximately 50 minutes by inserting a skewer.
