Chef Diego created the most expensive hamburger in the Netherlands in honor of International Hamburger Day last Sunday. This special hamburger has a value of € 2050,-. The burger is made from Japanese dry aged wagyu, Oosterschelde lobster, foie gras, white truffle, Remeker cheese, Japanese fruit tomato and caviar. Baker Edwin Klaasen of Desemenzo made the hamburger bun from brioche with saffron and gold leaf. The special hamburger sauce is based on a reduction of thirty-five lobsters, Madagascar vanilla, saffron, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and thirty-four-year-old soy sauce. Chef Diego has broken the record in the Guinness Book of Records with this sandwich.
