Preparation
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and cook the wheat in it. Salt directly during cooking to impregnate the flavor of the wheat. Cook according to the cooking time indicated on the box, then drain using a colander.
While the wheat cooks, let's take care of our fruits and vegetables. Peel your cucumbers if the skin is damaged, then cut them into thin slices. As for the apples, cut 3 quarters, which you will refine until you obtain strips that you will sprinkle with lemon juice.
In a bowl, pour the cooked wheat, add the apples, cucumbers and finely chopped chives. Drizzle in two tablespoons of olive oil. Keep your salad refrigerated until ready to serve.
When the guests are there, distribute the salad in small cupolas. Cut the last apple into strips that you will prick with a toothpick, intercalating with slices of Emmental cheese. Place one toothpick per dome.
