When it's hot, I love to make myself a good fresh fruit salad with kiwis, bananas, oranges and apples.
On the other hand, what is not very pleasant is that once peeled, bananas tend to darken very quickly.
It's true that it doesn't change much in taste but aesthetically it's really not a pretty sight.

1. Peel your banana.
2. Squeeze half a lemon.
3. Simply apply a few drops of lemon to the flesh of the banana.
There you go, your bananas won't turn black now :-)
With this simple gesture that really works, the bananas don't turn black as quickly than before.
You can also use this trick on other fruits like apples in order to obtain a fruit salad that is as good to look at as it is to taste.
