I improved the traditional mozzarella tomato salad by adding minced garlic.
It can be prepared in just 2 minutes and it's super good.

- 1 nice tomato
- 1/2 ball of mozzarella
- 1 stalk of garlic
- fresh basil leaf
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
Preparation: 2 min - For 1 person
1. Wash the tomato.
2. Cut the tomato and the mozzarella into thin slices.
3. Rinse the garlic stalks under running water.
4. Cut the garlic very finely (the white and the green).
5. Alternately put a slice of tomato and one of mozzarella on the plate.
6. Sprinkle everything with the minced garlic
7. Add the fresh basil leaves on top.
8. Put a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.
And There you go ! Your mozzarella tomato salad with garlic is already ready :-)

Garlic is a young garlic with fine stalks, but very tasty. It is easily found in the markets.
- You can also add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
- It's more expensive than with classic tomatoes but with beefsteak tomatoes, it's even better!
- Same for mozzarella. If you can afford it because it is not cheap, choose mozzarella di bufala.
