Pho (pronounced "fire") is a savory traditional soup from Vietnam.

This is a comforting recipe, perfect for winter days.
It is prepared with lots of vegetables, rice noodles and a delicious broth.
This recipe that I present to you today has 3 originalities.
It does not contain meat, it is super easy to make and it is ready in 20 minutes flat.
Without further ado, here is the delicious recipe for homemade pho soup in a jar . Watch:
- 1 large glass jar with a lid
- 1 carrot, cut into strips
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced spring onion
- 70g raw rice noodles
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 40 cl chicken broth (or vegetable stock if needed)
- salt, pepper
- optional:coriander and fresh mushroom
1. First put in the jar some salt/pepper to your liking.
2. Then, respecting this order, put the carrots, the pepper, the ginger, the garlic, the onion and finally, the uncooked rice noodles.
3. Then heat the broth separately in the microwave.
4. Pour this hot broth into the jar.
5. Close the jar and wait 5 minutes for the vegetables and rice noodles to soften.
6. Just before eating, pour the soy sauce into the jar.
And There you go ! Your delicious Pho soup in a jar is already ready to be tasted :-)

- For more flavors, don't hesitate to add fresh coriander, sliced fresh mushrooms, crunchy fresh bean sprouts, sliced new onion, a little hot sauce and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- If you don't have fresh ginger, powdered ginger will do. But it will always be better with fresh ginger because it gives a great flavor.
