One of Willemijn and Liselotte's favorite breakfasts from BeBio is oatmeal. This is a recipe that is also called “Overnight Oats” because you make it the night before and keep it in the fridge.
Benefits of oatmeal
Oatmeal is very healthy and gives energy, because it contains no sugar and thus keeps your blood sugar level stable. The grain gives you a feeling of fullness until lunch, which makes it also good for the line. In addition, it contains many antioxidants. Extra nice:this recipe is quick, healthy and easy to make.
What are the ingredients for 2 glasses?
– about 30 grams of oatmeal
– unsweetened oat milk or rice milk
– 1 apple
– handful of goji berries
– coconut shavings
– handful of crushed linseed
– 1 banana
– Cinnamon
How are you doing? The night before, fill 2 glasses with a layer of oatmeal, a layer of small sliced apple, banana pieces, a few goji berries and a hint of cinnamon. You alternate this until you have used all the ingredients and the glass is almost full. On top you put some linseed, banana, coconut shavings and then you pour the almond milk or rice milk gently on the sides until the glass is well filled. As a topping you can sprinkle some cinnamon and add some goji berries. The eye also wants something after all!
Hint: An additional variation is that you alternate the banana with blueberries or other fruit from the freezer or fresh.
