All that Sinterklaas candy is pretty tempting? But is it actually vegan or does it depend on the brand?
Sometimes you expect a product to be vegan, but that turns out not to be the case. Do you know about the Sinterklaas delicacies that are now in the store?

The Kruidnoten, Bakkers Kruidnootje and Kruidnoten Extra Dark Chocolate from Bolletje are vegan. Several kruidnoten from Plus, Albert Heijn and Jumbo are probably vegan. The use of animal aids is not excluded. Not all excipients must be listed on the ingredients list, so if in doubt, please contact the producer.
The kruidnoten from Hema and Van Delft are not vegan.
