Meatball supplies:
400 g mixed minced meat
Pepper
Salt
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp pimenton
1 egg (small)
2 tbsp panko
Sauce requirements:
Hand blender
1 garlic clove
1 shalot
1 tbsp olive oil
Red wine (1 dash is enough)
1 can of peeled tomatoes
½ can of water
Salt and pepper
1 tsp pimenton
½ tsp cumin powder
Half a can of water
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp ginger syrup
How to prepare meatballs:
1. Season the minced meat with pepper, salt, cumin powder, 1 tbsp pimenton, panko and add the egg;
2. Roll 12 balls out of the mixture and put them cold.
How to prepare sauce:
1. Finely chop the garlic and shallot and sauté both in olive oil;
2. Add a splash of red wine and evaporate the alcohol;
3. Then pour the can of peeled tomatoes with half a can of water;
4. Add the pimenton, cumin powder, pepper and salt to taste and let it stew for 5 minutes;
5. Then make a smooth whole with the immersion blender and add the tomato puree and ginger syrup (test for salt);
6. Finally, add the balls to the sauce and let them simmer gently for 8 minutes (do not stir, but shake).
