Turn on the oven at th 7 (210°C).

Peel the bananas, cut them into slightly thick slices.

Heat the butter in a frying pan and quickly brown the banana slices in it.

Place the pie dough in a mold and prick it with the tines of a fork.

Break the egg into a bowl, beat it into an omelet, add the sugar, coconut milk and grated coconut.

Pour the mixture over the base of the pie. Arrange the banana slices in a rosette and bake the pie for about 45 minutes, lowering the thermostat to 6 (180°) halfway through cooking.

Remove the pie from the oven when golden. Unmold and let cool a little.

Serve the tart warm and accompany it with a scoop of vanilla or rum/raisin ice cream.

Cavendish Banana:

Tiger yellow, it is the most classic of our bananas, the third fruit consumed in France after the apple and the orange. The most common variety on our stalls is the "poyo", with fairly straight fruit and an elongated stalk. It comes mainly from the French West Indies, Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.
