How to store fresh herbs?
It's far from obvious, because they dry out quickly.
Fortunately, here is a trick from grandmother to keep them much longer in the fridge.
The technique is simple. Fresh herbs, once harvested, are no longer supplied with water.
It is therefore the drying out that will shorten their conservation.
So the trick is to avoid drying out so they can stay fresh as long as possible.

1. Wet a clean dish towel.
2. Wrap your herbs in it.
3. Then put it in the fridge.
There you go, your fresh herbs will keep longer in the fridge :-)
Your fine herbs will keep all their flavors!
This humidity, transmitted directly to the leaves of your basil or the stems of your chives, will allow them to be preserved one more week.
It works great for me. Even with cut aromatic plants!
This very simple little trick will prevent you from throwing and therefore buy fresh herbs at the supermarket.
The aromatic herbs bought at the supermarket are expensive. For example, at Monoprix, pre-washed chives are €1.95, or more than €177 per kilo!
