It's hard these days to cook good meat without breaking the bank...
However, pork remains an affordable and economical meat.
By cooking it in a sauté, Provençal style, it is very tasty!
The scents of Provence on my plates... I like to put a little sunshine in my cooking!
Here is the easy recipe for my sautéed pork with Provençal vegetables that will delight the whole family!
- 1 kg of sautéed pork
- 1 large can of peeled tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- olive oil, salt and pepper
1. In a casserole, I brown the pieces of pork over high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. They must be well colored.
2. I slice the onion, chop the garlic and put them with the meat.
3. I wash, I remove the seeds and I cut the peppers into strips. I add them to the preparation.
4. I pour the contents of the can of peeled tomatoes into the casserole dish and mix everything well. I salt and I pepper.
5. I cover, lower the heat and let everything simmer for 1h30.
