Autumn-winter is the long-awaited period to (finally) enjoy ultra-comforting dishes to share with family or friends. Among those that make us salivate there is of course the famous raclette, but in recent years the good recipes of our grandmothers have come back in force, such as the casserole dishes .

A little historical reminder:this type of cast iron dish was invented in the 1700s by the Welshman James Thomas - derived from the Dutch process called "dutch oven" - to braise meat but also to prepare traditional stews.
