There you go, now you know my recipe that my dog loves :-)
Easy, fast and economical, right?
Your dog will enjoy it! He'll even love to eat the peelings, you'll see.
There will be nothing left in his bowl. And it's 100% natural.
Very practical for overweight (or obese) dogs who need to lose weight or even older dogs.
And the icing on the cake for your dog is the bone to gnaw to get his teeth.
Even better than a treat!
It's much more natural than the treats you can buy for your dog in stores.
Plus, this vitamin-packed broth is completely free.
A very practical and useful way to go zero waste!
For the bones, ask your butcher to give you the ones he usually throws away.
He will be happy to get rid of it and make you happy!
Know that you can put all kinds of vegetable peelings:carrots, potatoes, turnips, leeks...
And you can keep this broth for 3 days in the fridge.
If you make a lot of it, you can freeze it without any problem.
It's even a great way to cool off your dog when it's really hot, as explained here.
If you have a lot of vegetable peelings, know that your chickens or rabbits will also be delighted to enjoy them!
Of course, you can also put them in your compost to make a good natural and free fertilizer for your plants and your garden.
Do you know that some foods are toxic to your dog. This is particularly the case with garlic.
Do not put garlic, onion, salt, pepper or any other spice in broth for your dog.
These ingredients are toxic to him and will make him sick.
Of course, if you can use organic vegetable peelings, it's even better for your dog's health.
The peelings concentrate all the vitamins of the vegetables.
All these vitamins are found in the broth. And your dog benefits from all their contributions.
With the bone marrow, he will have a healthy, complete and light meal.
In addition, the bone will give a good taste to the broth that your dog will love.
Think about it especially if your dog is sick.
If he vomits and does not keep his usual food, he risks becoming dehydrated and weak.
But with this broth it has an important source of vitamins and minerals.
It is also a good remedy for diarrhea.
Puppies especially love it!
