Cottage cheese cheesecake recipe. mmm too good!

Cottage cheese cheesecake recipe. mmm too good!

Today I suggest you change your cooking habits a bit with this gourmet homemade cheesecake recipe, easy to make and very affordable.

Ingredients

Here are the ingredients you need to make a cake for 6 people:

- 200 g biscuits (speculoos or Petit Beurre de LU)

- 100 g of butter

- 500 g cottage cheese (of the cottage cheese type)

- 25 cl whipping cream

- 150g of sugar

- 3 eggs

- 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla

How to

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

2. Reduce the speculoos or the Petits Beurre de LU to a powder. Melt the 100g of butter, pour over the biscuit powder and gently mix everything together. Put this preparation in a cake mould, pressing down the cookie dough well and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.

3. Whisk the cottage cheese with the eggs, sugar, whipping cream and vanilla, pour this mixture over the freshly pre-baked biscuit dough and bake for 25 to 35 minutes, still at 180 C°.

4. Leave the cake to cool after baking, then unmold it and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours (more is even better).

The cheesecake is eaten extra-fresh , it is the rule. You can enjoy it as it is with a good cup of Viennese chocolate or add a little raspberry coulis for an even more gourmet cake.

Savings achieved

Instead of looking for a good address or tasting a cheesecake, make it yourself. A Cheesecake costs you €4 to make. €4 is exactly the price of a slice of cheesecake in a good pastry shop or restaurant. What a contrast...

So when you prepare your own cheesecake, you might as well say that you win:you have a whole cake instead of a small slice, you can customize your cheesecake at will and above all, a homemade cake is good best just a ready-made thing that may not even date from the same day.
