A savory cake accompanies both a dinner aperitif with friends, and a appetizer or a family meal.
What a treat, on Sunday evening, to prepare a cake with a salad!
Among all the savory cakes, there is one that you do not think of and which, nevertheless, is delicious and not expensive.
It's the mushroom cake.
- 200 gr of flour
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 100 g of grated cheese
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 clove of garlic
- parsley
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
- butter
- salt, pepper
- 250 to 300 gr of cut button mushrooms (fresh or canned)
1. Preheat the oven to 180° (th.6)
2. Brown your mushrooms with a little butter in a pan
3. Add the crushed garlic and parsley according to your taste
4. Beat your eggs in a container
5. Add the fresh cream
6. Gradually add the flour and baking powder
7. Prepare a 15 cl broth with the chicken stock cube
8. Add this slightly lukewarm broth to your mixture
9. Add the gruyère and mix well
10. Add your mushrooms, salt and pepper
11. Butter a cake mold, pour your preparation in it
12. Bake for about 30 minutes.
For a picnic, take this cake, even cold it will be delicious, accompanied by a pasta salad.
For a complete meal, enjoy it hot or warm, with a salad and steamed potatoes. Why not add a slice of cured ham to your dinner.
