For 4 homemade burgers
- 4 special "giant" hamburger buns
- 4 minced steaks
- 1 onion
- 4 slices of "special hamburger" cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato
- ketchup / mustard / mayonnaise
1. I preheat the oven to 160°C (thermostat 4).
2. I cut the onions into strips, the tomatoes and the cucumbers into rings.
3. I brush the bottom bread with ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise or all 3 according to your taste.
4. I turn the top loaf over and put a slice of cheese on it.
5. Then I bake it on a grill for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
6. Meanwhile, I brown the onions in a skillet over medium heat.
7. I take out the onions, let the pan heat up on high and add the steaks to sear them.
8. I salt and pepper.
9. I lay the meat on the bun and add the onions to the steak.
10. I add the tomatoes and close the cheeseburgers.
There you go, your delicious cheeseburgers are ready :-)
Simple, practical and fast!
I serve with fries, rustic potatoes or a small salad for a less heavy meal.
It's super easy to make and in the end well it's more economical than going to fast food.
Here you have the standard homemade burger recipe, but you can very well customize it according to your tastes. Personally, I like to put raw onions, a few strips of pepper and tabasco to spice it up.
