- 1/2 liter of milk
- 2 eggs
- 50g caster sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 4 nice pieces of stale bread
Preparation:2 min - Cooking:5 min
1. Beat the eggs with the sugar and milk in a bowl.
2. Immerse the pieces of bread in this mixture.
3. Drain the slices of bread then place them in a very hot buttered frying pan.
4. Brown them on each side .
5. Take them out of the pan.
6. Sprinkle them with sugar.
And now, it's ready ! No more stale bread and you have a delicious and very economical snack :-)
You can accompany them with jam for the greediest.
