Friendly, delicious and inexpensive, who says better?
Here is the little gift that I would like to offer you so that you can celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau with friends with my recipe for chicken thighs in Beaujolais sauce!
Having a drink with family or friends while enjoying a good dish is fun. As long as it doesn't cost me too much.
With this easy-to-prepare recipe, I'm 100% a winner!
- 4 chicken thighs
- 200 g of bacon
- 2 onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 pinch of Provencal herbs
- 60 cl of Beaujolais Nouveau
- Salt and pepper
- In a casserole, I brown my onions and bacon bits.
- I add my chicken thighs that I sprinkle with a little flour. I brown everything over high heat for 5 minutes, wetting it with a little wine.
- I salt lightly, pepper and add my Provencal herbs as well as my previously chopped garlic.
- I incorporate the rest of my Beaujolais and let simmer for 40 minutes. I add a little water if necessary.
It's ready ! I serve my thighs with pasta, rice or potatoes. A true delight ! I don't forget to bring the rest of my bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau to the table, just to toast when it arrives...
